[Almanac], [ca. 1730-1750].
Manuscript farmer's almanac. In addition to the calendar and astronomical entries, each month contains a list of fairs, appropriate farm and garden work and seasonal produce of orchard, flower and kitchen gardens, "diversions of the field," and seasonal "physical simples" and "animal diet."
In addition, the entries for these are usually followed by "Addenda" on topics such as planting, grafting, plowing, butter and cheese making, best fruits for various uses, and different earths and manures.
