 Notes:  Title from item. The name of the artist is printed within the lower right corner of image. This poster advertises the October 1897 issue of the magazine The Inland Printer. In 1897 Leyendecker was commissioned to design all twelve covers for the Chicago based monthly. The words Now Ready near the upper margin of sheet and the words Price Twenty Cents near the lower margin are printed in large black letters. The illustration shows a rider dressed in red and mounted on a black horse. Just having jumped over a hurdle he is preceded by a running pack of five hounds. The word October is printed near the upper left margin of image. The words The Inland Printer are printed below the image.
