 Notes:  The 82 page volume was compiled by George West Blake for the years 1851-1854. It lists all the omnibus lines then operating in the city, giving routes, names of owners, operators, as well as builders and painters of vehicles. In the volume, omnibuses are rated first, second and third class, depending on whether they were pulled by six, four or two horses.
