Author from the research of André Robinet (Oeuvres complètes de Malebranche, t. 17 (1960) pt. 1, p. 450-54, and t. 20 (1967) p. 321-26). The attribution to Malebranche, which appeared on the edition published in 1769, is considered apocryphal. Robinet also discusses attributions to the Comte de Boulainvilliers, P.V. Faydit and Pierre Varignon. Foliation: Paper, i + 86 + i; [1-86]; modern foliation in pencil, upper right recto. Layout: Written in 15-17 long lines; vertical margins marked by folding. Binding: Contemporary half leather (Zacour-Hirsch); upper cover detached. Origin: Written in France in the 18th century.
