 Notes:  Ms. codex. Treatise from a Cartesian viewpoint on the infinity of the universe and transubstantiation. Title from title page (f. 1r). Author from the research of André Robinet (Oeuvres complètes de Malebranche, t. 17 (1960) pt. 1, p. 450-54, and t. 20 (1967) p. 321-26). The attribution to Malebranche, which appeared on the edition published in 1769, is considered apocryphal. Robinet also discusses attributions to the Comte de Boulainvilliers, P.V. Faydit and Pierre Varignon. Foliation: Paper, i + 86 + i; [1-86]; modern foliation in pencil, upper right recto. Layout: Written in 15-17 long lines; vertical margins marked by folding. Binding: Contemporary half leather (Zacour-Hirsch); upper cover detached. Origin: Written in France in the 18th century.
