 Notes:  Collection of German non-postal stamps, mostly perforated, related to health and medicine. The majority of stamps are advertisements for proprietary medicines. Others advertise health exhibitions such as the Ausstellung fur Gesundheitspflege in Stuttgart (1911), spas, mineral waters, and the Red Cross. Dated items range from 1911 to 1932 . The tuberculosis stamps, similar to American Easter seals, and the multiple sclerosis stamps date from a much later period, 1960-1968.

 Notes:  Views of the Schuhfabrik Langermann, G.m.b.H., factory and offices in Niederauerbach, Germany. Pictures are unusual black and white film transparency stereographs. They show men, women, and children working in the factory, as well as clerks and typists in offices. Also views of leather cutting and storage, and women's shoes made by the company. Collection also contains the original box and a metal folding stereo viewer that came with the photographs.
