Contents include texts of prayers (Lord's prayer, Ave Maria), the act of contrition, and confession; texts related to the rosary; and lists of the ten commandments, sacraments, articles of faith, and sins and virtues. The last item is a treatise on the first two commandments, with the Kekchi text on the left page and the Spanish text on the right page of each opening. A table of contents follows the last item. Title from title page (f. 3r). The first and third characters of the word Kekchi and the third character of the name Pakay are written using the tresillo symbol.
