The Consortium promotes academic freedom and freedom of expression in its programs and activities, where participants may express themselves while protecting and respecting the rights of others to learn, teach and conduct research free from interference or obstruction. When addressing complaints of violations of this policy, the Consortium will respond appropriately while respecting the rights of free expression and academic freedom.
Participants at Consortium activities will treat each other with respect and consideration to create a collegial, inclusive, and professional environment that is free from any form of discrimination, harassment, or retaliation.
Disruptive or harassing behavior at Consortium events and activities will not be tolerated. Harassment includes but is not limited to inappropriate or intimidating behavior and language, unwelcome jokes or comments, unwanted touching or attention, offensive images, photography without permission, and stalking.
Violations of this code of conduct policy should be reported to the Executive Director, or if the violation involves the Executive Director, to the Chair of the Board of the corporation.
