Joseph Baxer DMin, PhD will explore the laborious historical integration of global health organizations within WHO, its challenges in 2022 as well as its five-year strategy focused on  achieving scientifically measurable health data that now impact people worldwide.
 
Dr. Joseph Baxer is President of the United Nations Association of Connecticut, previously US representative to the United Nations for the London-based NGO, Strategies for Peace and a participant in the Boards of the World Federation of United Nations Associations and the National Council of the United Nations Association. He is engaged in sustaining cultural diversity and mediating cross-cultural conflicts locally and internationally, leading seminars on cross cultural dialogue and conflict resolution in the United States and globally. He has participated in international peace missions to Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania and Ethiopia.  His career included  teaching high school physics, years as a high school Headmaster, adjunct teaching at Saint Joseph University, Emory University and the Hartford International University for Religion and Peace. An ordained priest, he  ministered in multicultural churches in the US and abroad developing and implementing NGOs focused on housing, health care and education. He directed a large inner city homeless shelter/rehabilitation center. He holds Doctorates in psychology and theology, Masters in Philosophy and Sociology. His educational background includes studies at the Gregorian University, Oxford University, Graduate Theological Foundation, Harvard, Catholic University of Paris and the Catholic University of America.
