To celebrate its 60th anniversary, the University of Sydney Fisher Library has acquired a first edition copy of De humani corporis fabrica libri septem (On the Fabric of the Human Body in seven books) by Andreas Vesalius.
The book has been digitised and will be available to view through the Library’s Digital Collections from Monday 6 November 2023, the Library’s day of festivities celebrating Fisher Library’s anniversary. You can also book a Virtual Reading Room session with a Librarian to browse the item in real time over Zoom.
